The chapter's annual Bach-A-Thon took place at the Episcopal Parish of St. John the Baptist at the Oregon Episcopal School on March 15, 2026, making use of their fine Flentrop (1971, with additions) instrument in a combined live/virtual presentation. A concert featuring music composed exclusively by women composers took place inside the stunning interior of the First Presbyterian Church of Portland on February 22, 2026. Organ Project Details: St. Mary Catholic Church, Mt. Angel
I recently visited St. Mary's Church in Mt. Angel and recorded these images of a display in their vestibule. The existing Möller is being combined with the Gress-Miles instrument formerly located in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Portland. The project is proceeding under the auspices of Bond Organ Shop, Portland, and will include a new 3 manual console in the transept in addition to the 2 manual console in the gallery.
