Organ Sonatinas of Christopher Wicks - 02/11/2024

On Sunday February 11 the Portland chapter of the American Guild of Organists presented a concert of Organ Sonatinas composed by chapter member Christopher Wicks FAGO. Performers included Matthew O'Sullivan, Heidi Kohne and Grant Edwards. The event was attended by well more than 50 enthusiastic listeners at the beautiful Mt. Angel Abbey church. The full resources of the Martin Ott organ (Opus 80, 1997, 44 ranks) were utilized to maximum effect during the performances of the 9 chosen works.
