Introduction to Hauptwerk, 11/14/26, 2-4pm

An overview of the Hauptwerk system for use with consoles/keyboards that have a MIDI connection at the home of Ken Dorsch in Beaverton (address details to be emailed to chapter members).

We will go over requirements (hardware and software) necessary for the system, as well as associated costs. In addition, we will also talk about the wide variety of "sample sets" available, both some that are free as well as a number of those professionally produced. And, you will be able to hear several of them for yourself.

In my digital library I have about 20 sample sets that cover instruments from the 17th through 21st centuries. Everyone is encouraged to bring some music that you would like to play/hear.

Light snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring some finger food if you would like. For questions, contact Ken at 503-746-3777.

No RSVP is necessary.
