The American Guild of Organists has produced a national guideline for compensation for church musicians.  You may find that here (follow the link to Downloadable Docs).

The Portland chapter has also produced local guidelines for compensation.  Republished in 2002, these guidelines are based upon national's guidelines along with Portland's standard of living index.  If you would like to request a booklet, please notify Heidi Kohne .  Please note that there is a $2.50 charge for non-members to cover printing expenses and postage.
