Welcome to Portland! We hope you enjoy your stay here. The Portland, Oregon, Chapter encompasses organists, church music directors, and organ affecianados along the Columbia River and upper Willamette Valley in Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. Locales include (but are not limited to) Astoria, McMinnville, Scappoose, Wilsonville, Pendleton, and the greater Portland area, with a couple of dual-members coming from Salem. Membership in the Guild is done through local chapters, and you can find a registration form through the link at the left. Clicking on the rose at the top of each page should da capo you here.
LATEST: The new membership forms are now available for the 2008-9 year. Please note that these are now to be sent to Gerald Skeels, Lifetime Honorary Member and Past Dean
Ed Charman passed away suddenly Saturday, May 17 from heart problems. He was at his church, King of Kings Lutheran, to practice and never came home. There is a memorial organ fund set up at King of Kings Lutheran Church if you would like to send a donation. Email addresses have been formatted differently (again) site-wide. Links to individuals' email addresses will work, but please edit the email address before sending your message. This is an attempt to reduce spam email to the recipients. The convention site has been taken down. If there is information or pictures that you would still like to see, please let Heidi Kohne know and she will send you what you need. We still have lots of memorabilia from last year's convention, including pencils, notepads, and convention booklets. The pencils and notepads are free and the booklets are at a discount of $5 each. If you would like any items shipped, that can be arranged for a nominal shipping fee. You are also welcome to arrange pickup or drop-off. Please let Heidi Kohne know if you would like anything from the stores. |
