Welcome to Portland!  We hope you enjoy your stay here.

The Portland, Oregon, Chapter encompasses organists, church music directors, and organ affecianados along the Columbia River and upper Willamette Valley in Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.  Locales include (but are not limited to) Astoria, McMinnville, Scappoose, Wilsonville, Pendleton, and the greater Portland area, with a couple of dual-members coming from Salem.  Membership in the Guild is done through local chapters, and you can find a registration form through the link at the left.

* Latest news resulting from our convention last year *
Lynn Peterson's piece, "Starry Crown Suite", that was commissioned for our convention will be published by Augsburg Fortress.  It will be included in a collection of some of her works, including her setting of "His Eye is On the Sparrow" which she composed for the Portland Organ Book.  The collection also includes settings of Holy Manna, the National Anthem, National Hymn, Nelson, and Resignation.
Look for this in your local music store!

We still have lots of memorabilia from last year's convention, including pencils, notepads, and convention booklets. The pencils and notepads are free and the booklets are at a discount of $5 each. If you would like any items shipped, that can be arranged for a nominal shipping fee. You are also welcome to arrange pickup or drop-off. Please let Heidi Kohne know if you would like anything from the stores.
